Have you ever been in Bondi Junction, Australia? How' bout it? |
Travel Info Nice? or.. Travel Tips Bondi Junction is more of a transit stop on the way to Bondi, if my memory serves me correctly, it's where the train line stops and you have to take a bus, but that was back in the 80's. Maybe now they have a train running all the way. Anyway, it never even registered as a place to be when I was living there, more like a place to go through, as I said before. Others Yeah, I have some great memories from Bondi. Personally I prefer Manly though. Not as many tourists either. But then again... not as many white pointers either lol. It's definately worth checking out though. It is one of our greatest icons. Bondi Junction? Most people ask about bondi beach. I go to bondi junction everyday. There's a big shopping mall there, with everything you could possibly need right there. Even my gym is there. There are also a bunch of nice little boutiques up Bronte Rd... But the walking mall there is kind of ugly, and there aren't any decent restaurants (that I've discovered anyway). Go to the Westfield (the shopping mall in BJ); it even has a cinema ;) yes i been there heaps of time to buy clothes and get computer equipement Are you asking the question because you have found accommodation there? Staying in Bondi Junction is very convenient for travellers. It's easy to get to the city by train, and also easy to get to the beach by bus. There's a new shopping centre there which has a focus on fashion, so you can pick up some great buys. O.k. like any other place, if you don't know it! Or never been...but have hear-say?....you may have some ideas, in your head. Truth be told............Bondi Junction, is just a suburb, and has nothing really outstanding about it!...Its o.k. nice shopping, but so has the centre of Sydney! Hope you didn't have grand ideas?...because I would hate to tell you a lie.... had a quick visit a week ago...beautiful beach (not as crowded on weekday), several water jets and lots of surfers in the water, some nice shopping |
