Safest and central part of sydney to stay in? |
Travel Info am travelling to sydney around early December for a night with a friend. Where is a good hotel to stay in the city that is relatively safe? Looking upto about $300, although the cheaper would be better. Travel Tips You can get a private double room at the YHA Central or the YHA Railway which happens to be closeby. Clean, safe, and within the downtown area. Should be approx $100 per night but make sure that you check the YHA/HI website for availability of rooms. Having never stayed in a hostel until this year, the YHA holds good standards in cleanliness and decent guests. Others VIBE Hotel, Goulburn st Sydney. Enjoy Australia Check out http://www.ozhotels.com.au/sydney.php... It's got a lot of great deals. Sydney isn't that dangerous really. I've walked around Kings Cross at 3am in boxer shorts and flip flops and never got hassled lol (long story) Seriously though, you'll have a great time. Williams street has some nice hotels and it's near the Cross. Also, around Hyde park area is a good place to stay. Anyway, if you're staying in a hotel, there should be no problem anywhere. Just avoid Redfern! you must be kidding, ALL hotels in Sydney city are safe. try a police station SYDNEY HARBOUR MARRIOTT IS JUST FIVE MINUTES WALK TO THE FERRIES AT CIRCULAR QUAY |
