Do any Americans have insight on living in Australia? |
Travel Info Do any Americans have insight on living in Australia? Travel Tips The ones living here do. Back home they're quite ignorant, but I moved here 6 months ago. Comparisons are Melbourne vs. Sacramento, CA: Housing MUCH more affordable. Excellent job outlook for qualified workers. Basic life necessities -- i.e. food, clothing are very affordable. People delightfully polite. Much nicer weather -- not blazing hot in the summer. Fabulous public transportation. Amazing ethnic diversity, and dining and entertainment options much wider variety. Others I have heard it is hard to find a good paying job. The cost of living is high but the people are soooooooo nice. I finally understood what Steve Irwin taught about mateship after going there. It's AMAZING!!!!! I love it there! The people are amazing, it's gorgeous, it's spectacular. Do it! The food's great too, especially in Sydney! Everything is at least a little bit cheaper than in the U.S. Move there! It's my favorite place! My experience! hi mate I'm not American but would just like to say get your **** down here I'm sure you'll enjoy it,weathers good, plenty of things to do,good food/ BEER!,nice people most of us,and for skilled workers no probs finding a job,and no i don't work for tourism Australia, see ya. americans are not welcome in my country |
