Where is the best place in Sydney to watch the New Year's Fireworks? |
Travel Info The midnight ones (not the 9pm Darlingharbour fireworks). I want to find somewhere where my family and me can have a good view, some grass to sit on (maybe a bottle of wine/champagne - but I am aware of the alcohol restrictions in some places in Sydney). And, it needs to be within walking distance of getting to Hyde Park (so I can get the bus home). Any helpful answers would be appreciated. Thank you. Travel Tips I would say Macquaries Point would be a good bet as it's probably the best view of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. You have to be in the Botanic Gardens by 3pm though. Others From the Bridge. If your travelling by train Alight at Milsons Point Station and walk down to Luna Park.. They have excellent views their Or also Mc Mahons point.... which is a further walk up from Luna Park Happy NEW yR FROm Now ! |
