What was the new year celabrations like in sydney australia? |
Travel Info what was the firework display like for newyear celabrations in sydney australia and what was the weather like Travel Tips billabong Others pretty mundane mental!!!!! saw it on brit tv and it looked tickity boo to me I thought it was pretty sensational. Really depends on where you were- the closer to the action the better( I was on the eastern side behind the train station at circular quay so didn't see much :(). The first round of fireworks began at 9pm, which lasted about 10mints. The final countdown wasn't as great as expected but the fireworks that followed was fantastic- best in the world from what i've heard. The weather was forecatsed to be rainy with a chance of a late storm however it was pretty cool with not a drop of rain insight until well after the celebrations. I was there :) no idea there was no telecast this year on free tv by any national television channel, I believe a smaller television station may have some coverage,but if so the coverage could only be viewed by purchasing additional devices to attach to their tv. |
