Does anyone know the nearest place to Bondi Beach to view the harbour bridge fireworks this New Years Eve? |
Travel Info I'm new to Bondi and would like to see the firworks but not venture too far in to the city :) Travel Tips Nearest bondi...u have to go to vacluse/watsons bay...and u will be Able to watch it from up the hill. :)) Others Maybe from Rose Bay. If you want to see the fireworks you are going to have to go into the city to get the best view. Alternatively you go along the coast road to Mrs Macquaries chair. You should get a fair view from there. Dudley Page Reserve on Military Rd at Dover Heights has superb harbour views.But I think it may cost you about $10 just for access to it.Another spot with good views is next to Kincoppal School on the corner of Bayview Hill rd and New South Head rd at Rose Bay. theres this park at the top of bondi beach you have to pass the shops and the orginal oportos its across the road from the house called the "butterfly house" its for sale its the main road where the beach is but follow it all the way up you shouldnt miss it cos its the same road have fun ! |
