Where to go in australia for older people on tourism? |
Travel Info Where to go in australia for older people on tourism? Travel Tips Hi! You can book tours in Melbourne, it's a beautiful old city and older people also love it. Perth has beautiful beaches and my older relatives love the beaches and calmness of the Perth area, you could also try to see Rockhampton and the Daintree rainforest, Great Barrier Reef in Northern Queensland, if you like the warm weather. There is also Tasmania which have some of the largest forest trees in the world and apple farms etc. (Just making a list of where my older relatives love to go.) Someone already covered Sydney, you should also try the vineyards in the Hunter Valley NSW or in South Australia. Darwin if you like warm weather and crocodiles, and Inner Australia if you wish to see the mines and our famous rock. (That would be a very touristic thing to do but only go if you can stand the dry heat and don't want to stay in 5 star luxury.) Others Definitely the rocks market which is on Saturdays and Sundays, maybe the Sydney Opera House tour, Botanic Gardens, Powerhouse Museum at Darling Harbour. And there's always the beaches such as Bondi, Manly or Coogee. Whitsundays or Barrier Reef there are tours for any age group. depends on what you want to see age don't matter when my mum was 80 she decided she wanted to see crock's in the wild so booked on a bus tour to QLD/NT to see them (stayed in hotels/motels not tents)had a great time so see age don't matter |
