What type of shoe are you expected to wear to walk over Sydney Harbour Bridge? |
Travel Info Are trainers OK or is footwear provided by the organisers of the walk? Travel Tips They don't provide footwear. You need to be wearing enclosed shoes (no sandals) and something flat. I did the climb in 2001 and it's fantastic!! See the link below to the full list of what you are provided with. Remember - don't even think about having an alcoholic drink before the climb as they do breath tests. And you have to go through a metal detector to make sure you're not trying to take up anything you're not allowed (cameras, mobiles) etc. They take official photos during the climb and at the top that you can then buy. If you wear glasses, then these too will be fastened to your boiler suit. You will love it, I can honestly say that climbing Syndey Harbour Bridge has been my greatest experience to date. I loved it. $180 Aussie well spent. Enjoy. think they are pretty ok with most things, ie trainers or good walking boots with alot of tread....they will make you wear a nice light grey boiler suit thing which is pretty bland.make sure you look good though as they take ya photo up there. past experience you can go barefoot walking over the bridge if you like it is a public foot path wear whet you like & there is no organisers for walking on a foot path |
