Can anybody please recommend a good hotel to stay in Sydney? |
Travel Info walking distance to Circular Quay/The Rocks etc. Travelling with young baby so one of us will have to stay in to watch the fireworks ! Am sure any rooms with views of the Bridge have been booked for past 5 years and are extortionate - but just thought I would ask anyway !! If not in Circular Quay then where else would we have a good view eg. Balmain/Manly or too far out? Appreciate any advice. Thanks Travel Tips ShangiLa is a great hotel. Other Travel Tips Unfortunately you wont get harbour views from Balmain or Manly, try the North Shore, North Sydney has a couple of nice hotels that might have harbour views without you having to take out a second mortgage. Harbour view rooms arent always booked out because they are so pricey. But try wotif.com and lastminute.com. Depending on when you want to go you might get a good deal Worked in a 5 star hotel in Sydney The Shangri La and The Four Seasons would both be great places. They're both located within seconds from The Rocks, and if you get the right room, you'll have a nice view of the fireworks. I don't know your price range though, because the Four Seasons especially is quite expensive. |
