If you want to buy a second home here you obviously already have one, so if its your home why cant you stay there? and ofcourse you can buy two homes you can buy 100 homes if you want to. you have that much money? As far as I know there is no law in Australia stopping anyone from anywhere from buying as many homes as they please, (I assume you are O.S.), the only thing stopping all of us doing it is money. Of course there will no doubt be taxes, rates and whatever other fee's the Gov. throw in on homeowners and investment buyers. Also I think you would be able to stay as long or as little as you like as long as you have the right visa's, passports etc. |
