Whats the best area or street to live in sydney? why? |
Travel Info im looking for a place to live...so tell me wheres the best place! Travel Tips the North Shore area for the following reasons... 1) cleanliness - cleanist area in Sydney 2) transport - trains/buses 3) proximity - close to downtown and best beaches in Sydney 4) safety - most certainly the safest area of Sydney. Most of Sydneys' problems have no presence in the north. Others wallaby way......it was on finding nemo......p. sherman 42 wallaby way sidney It depends entirely on what you want, what your lifestyle is, what your family does, how big your family is, where you work etc etc etc. The first question should be how easy will it be to get to work? Can you use public transport or will you need to drive. You don't want to spend 90 minutes each way in traffic every day. talk to real estate agents in the general area you choose and listen to what they have to say. Walk or drive round the area and look at it. Sydney has some great suburbs and the best are not the most expensive. I have lived in the eastern suburbs and the inner west (Newtown/Glebe area) and have had a great time. I wouldn't be seen dead on the north shore, they all vote for Little Lying Johnny, the prime minister, over there. They also take the kids to school in armoured personnel carriers. If you want to spend time in the city, it can be very expensive with Bridge tolls as well. O.K. Best area '' Potts Point" ''Double Bay'' ''Coogee'' ''Wahroonga'' Now lets talk price...and I am very very serious.o.k. HOW MANY MILLION do you have! seriously? It will start at about 1 mill and up! I lived in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney, I loved the mountains, it has your arty, ecclectic types of people.. HOWEVER, its sooo far away from everything. If I was to live in Sydney again I would live in Newtown, Glebe, Annandale area there is heaps to do all the time. If you prefer the beach there are heaps, Manly, Coogee, Cronulla or Bondi just to name a few. Sydney can be a cool place to live but you have to choose your area very carefully, and unfortunately all good areas have a huge price tag attached!! 20 years of Sydney living.... Just make sure it's not Everley Street in Redfern (Sydney) and you should be ok! lol |
