Migrating to australia? |
Travel Info can anyone suggest a good link for me? i wish to get a (preferably) sponsered job down-under, i'm an electrician, whats the best site to look at? Travel Tips http://www.immi.gov.au is the immigration department website which will give you all the information you need and allow you to download the application forms. You can do an Australian Visa Eligibility Assessment at http://www.migrationexpert.com/... to see what your chances of getting a visa issued are. You may find it easier to get an employer to sponsor you if you can show that you are likely to get a visa issued. Good luck! Source(s): Emigrated to Australia from the UK in 2006. Other Travel Tips The biggest job site in Australia is www.seek.com.au. Sponsorship is quite hard to get, and its only really considered when there is nobody in Australia who is available to do the job. The Australian's get first choice when it comes to jobs - thats the way the skills shortage works. But if you considered working somewhere away from a major city, you might have more chance. Good Luck. www.immi.gov.au That site contains all the info you need about migrating to Australia. Look it over. I did and 10 months later I obtained a Permanent Resident's Visa. you can try www.immi.gov.au or www.seek.com.au good luck Seek is one of the best general websites, a good trade specific website is htt://www.bluecollar.com.au. As an electrician you may be eligible to migrate independently, i.e. without a job offer. To see if you are eligible you could complete an online calculator offered at http://www.visalogic.net. http://www.visalogic.net |
