Travel Info What is the crime rate and general vibe of Gorokan, San Remo,Lake Haven,Budgewoi and Kanwal? Travel Tips Ummm I lived there for a year and it felt i was in the western sub's....... and as far as the crime rate goes they do have their probs with it. I wouldnt go back there not even for a hamburger and they make good burgers there. Dont get me wrong crime is every where but they do have problems with the unemployed and gov houseing and drugs. I moved back to sydney ! Others it'd been a while since i have been up that way , but my brother in kanwal, doesn't complain about it ...in the 20+ odd yrs he's lived there his house was robbed .. so not too bad .. but give the local boys in blue a call and ask them i go up to budgewoi every year for NYE and its nice and laid back, no crime to speak of, and im guessing that everywhere else is like that too |
