Depends on what part of Australia. It's a big country - as big as the USA. It also depends on where you are. if you are on the East coast of the USA, then the time in Sydney would be 10:35am the next day, and Perth would be 8.35am. But if you are on the west coast of the USA, it would be 1.35 pm in Sydney, and 11.35 am in Perth (both still already in the next day.) Source(s): I'm an Aussie, we know this stuff.

Sydney is normally in Eastern Standard Time which is UTC + 10 hours. Daylight saving is still in operation so the time zones are Tasmania, Victoria and NSW UTC + 11; South Australia UTC + 10.5; Queensland UTC + 10; Northern Territory UTC + 9.5; Western Australia UTC + 9. Queensland and the NT are not on daylight saving, everyone else is. DS finishes at the end of March.
