I'm leaving for Taiwan soon and i don't know what to expect from the country, the things that i should know and have with me... help pls...

Travel Tips

~ Be very careful of your belongings. Don't let anything out of sight.
~ Bargin on everything you buy- never agree on the first price because it's always raised for bargining.
~ Take a phrase book or translator dictionary with you and learn how to say the basics like 'help', 'do you speak english', 'where is the police station', etc. Do this when going to any country.
~ Stick to main roads when walking around.
~ If you want to bring food back home check you can bring it back before buying it- same goes for wood objects.
~ Don't eat food from street stalls- unless you want to risk food posioning. Go to a proper resuarant.
~ Take out travel insurance!!!! Except don't go to Harvey World Travel insurance (bad experience with them).

people are very serious and direct there. I f you go shopping it is a must to bargain on lowering the prices. They usualy accept and reduce the price of whatever you are buying. The food is very light and lots of seafood.
