Travel Info I need to renew my NZ passport in Aust is it easier to send it to NZ or Sydney & how long does it take? Travel Tips I got mine a short while ago. I just downloaded the application form then sent it off to Sydney and I recieved my passport in less than two weeks.It's much easier and you don't have worry about exchange rates and fees Others not sure about the time taken, but kiwi friend of mine did it and just went through the consulate in sydney. he looked into it and that was apparently less time consuming than sending it across the tasman.... My mum is in NZ but she was born in Aussie and has an Aussie passport, she renewed her's on the net a few months back - so maybe NZ has this facility on their website too.. otherwise do it in sydney - It'll take longer with the snail mail over the ditch, believe me! |
