Travel Info What kind of fun can be in australia (sydney)for a 17 year old? Travel Tips Hi again Star j, There are so many things to do in Sydney. Below I have made list for you to take your pick from. I have included the sites for you to look at. If you are not afraid of heights you must do the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb. This weekend is the Bridge鈥檚 75th birthday. .The other fun thing not to miss out on is the Jet Boat Ride. The best place to sit is at the back of the boat. 1.Sky Walk on Sydney Tower. http://www.skywalk.com.au/ 2.Bridge Climb http://www.bridgeclimb.com/ 3.Sydney Wildlife World http://www.sydneywildlifeworld.com.au/?r... 4.Sydney Aquarium http://www.sydneyaquarium.com.au/... 5.Taronga Zoo http://www.zoo.nsw.gov.au/ It鈥檚 a quick ferry ride from the city. 6.Jet Boat Ride http://www.thunderjetboat.com.au/... http://www.ozjetboating.com/ 7.Wild Ride on the back of a Harley Motor Cycle Bike http://www.wildride.com.au/tour-sydney.p... 8.Harbour Cruise http://www.sydney.com.au/cruises.htm... They have alcohol stations in the beach Check out Circular Quay, particularly the aquarium. There's a glassed in tunnel that goes right under the Sydney Harbour and sometimes you see sharks through it. You MIGHT be old enough to do the Harbour Bridge climb. That's a blast. Taronga Zoo is fun, regardless of your age. You'll get up close and personal (like, 2 feet away!) from a koala and see all kinds of other Australian wildlife. If you do go to the zoo, take the harbour cruise over from Circular Quay. It's a great ride and you'll enjoy the city view. Darling Harbour has lots of shops and some classic old ships to enjoy, even some you can go on tours of. The Queen Victoria Building and the Strand have great shopping. You can rent surfing gear at Bondi beach. There's also the "Skywalk" on Sydney Tower as well The drinking age is 18 so you should stay way from pubs, nightclubs etc. If you look older than you are, you might be able to bluff your way past the bouncers. Apart from that, the age of consent is 16 for everyone so as long as your partner says "yes" you can go to bed with anyone over 16 - and everything is legal with consent. You get to go to Australia? How fun!!!! I am green with envy for I too at 17 was going to go there, however, I fell in love and spent all my money on a lost cause.....sniff sniff.... You will have a blast I am sure of that, follow the advice of lightning for it seems to be sound. You are so lucky! |
