Where can I buy cheap clothings and shoes in Sydney? |
Travel Info Where can I buy cheap clothings and shoes in Sydney? Travel Tips Birkenhead Point is mostly clearance shops. Redfern & Market City also have more of the same. DFO at Homebush is excellent but difficult to get to by public transport. Ive also picked up loads of bargains in Parramatta. Paddy's markets are ok, but you may not be getting genuine articles (fakes galore). Others Take a walk along some of the smaller streets in Sydney CBD, you may find a bargain. Walk through Paddy's Markets aswell. Visit Woolworths at Town Hall Station, it has clothing on the top level next to the cafe (Only this Woolworths has these) they may have good prices. If you're in the suburbs, there are many discount shops in major shopping centres. There are a few 'markets' in the Sydney area. Some in the city and some out west. Like Paddy's and Parklea. Other than that, I HIGHLY recommend the second hand charity stores for quality, variety and discount. Flemington Markets Parklea Markets www.parkleamarkets.com.au Paddys Markets www.paddysmarkets.com.au Glebe markets http://www.glebesociety.org.au/aboutgleb... DFO http://www.dfo.com.au/ Birkenhad Point http://www.birkenheadsc.com.au/... Westfields www.westfield.com.au http://www.factoryoutlet.com.au/shoes/sh... most of the op shops like salvation army or saint vincent do sell good clothing even though they are used.but if you look closely you can find some good labels that are hardly used.rather than going to the markets like paddy markets which most of them are fake and made in china.a pair of levis jeans for less than ten $ than a brand new that will cost more than a hundred $.give it a good wash then you have a cheap attire.people dont care if its new or old. |
