How do I transport a surfboard from Melbourne to Sydney?

I need to somehow get a surfboard from melbourne to sydney -without me taking it...any ideas on postage/courier or something similar etc??

Try Greyhound (McCaffertys) buses. They can transport this overnight/day, also for extra can pickup and deliver, rather than taking it to a terminal. Can recommend them, as have used many times all over Australia, and have never had any problems. See their website for a quote, you will find they are very cheap.

Check rail freight, it is not expensive.
open the yellow pages on transport and pick any of the furniture removalists between the 2 states, they need to do backloading ( which means they accept 1 or 2 pieces). we use 2 or 3 of these at work if you want to email me I can give you their numbers.
