Any recommended Taiwan mobile service provider?? |
Travel Info i searched the internet and found out that these are the service providers in Taiwan: taiwan mobile transAsia telecommunications MoBiTai KG Telecom Chunghwa FarEastTone i'm looking for free incoming and low rates/charges of both calls and text messages, and can call overseas. any recommendations?? Travel Tips In Taiwan, free incoming calls are compulsory for all providers (roaming incoming calls are exceptions). Rates of calls and text messages vary among products, but they do not differ too much. The most reliable providers are Chunghwa and Taiwan Mobile although you can easily get signals anywhere in Taiwan from all providers. If you will stay in Taiwan for at least a year, sign a contract with a provider and you will get a lower rate. Prepaid products generally charge a somewhat high rate of calls although it is still quite low compared with that in most other countries. Source(s): I am a Taiwanese citizen. Actually, the largest mobile service provider in Taiwan is called "Taiwan DaGaDa" Which means "bigger than big" They are everywhere, and I have a contract with them, it is very competetive. |
