Travel Info Are there any Vegan restraunts in Taiwan? Travel Tips You will not go hungry here in Taiwan. There is a huge sector of the population who are practicing Buddhists . There are plenty of Affordable Vegan places here in every district. There is generally a large Swastika sign outside, you can't go wrong here. Here is an example of a Take away Vegan Joint, Really delicious food . You take what you like and the charge you by weight. Others A business associate in Taiwan had taken us out to a traditional, Indian vegan restaurant in central Taipei. I guess there must be quite a few of them out there, since the place seemed pretty popular among locals and foreigners. I'm not vegan but I can say that I did enjoy that food.
