Taipei Hotels near to Hsimen Ding?

Hi, I'm going to Taipei with my family and in-laws but cannot find a nice and good hotel. Can someone let me know which are the hotels located near to Hsimen Ding or which hotel should I stay in Taipei (convenient and near to shopping and eating areas)? Thanks alot.

Travel Tips

You may try the San Want Hotel. It's right in the middle of the district you are looking for: lots of shopping and eating areas in the vicinity and it's next to a convenient mass transit railway station. Back in Easter, a double bedroom cost around US120 a night ( including a buffet breakfast for 2). The hotel is not really close to Hsimen Ding by foot, but with the mass transit you can practically go most anywhere in Taipei within a half hour period. You can find small restaurants serving international food along the few streets behind the hotel. The infamous 101 tower is only 2 stations away. If you plan to travel around the urban area of Taipei on the mass transit, consider buying a day pass at the station.

Taipei is a safe place to visit. Have a nice trip.
