Has anyone has stayed in Dahshin hotel, previously also called Delight hotel? |
Travel Info How is the hotel and is there any surrounding shopping area near the hotel? Travel Tips It's a cosy hotel. I had guests stay there. Forumer's comment: The taiwanese are really friendly and helpful and I really enjoyed my trip there thoroughly. Well, just want to compliment the staff at Delight Hotel (Zhongshan). The staff there are really good, especially Mr Huang. He is really helpful and nice and even provide us with suggestions on how to go about the places we want to visit. He even brought us around to visit some places, which is beyond his job scope. The rooms at Delight may be a little small, but it is certainly cozy enough and make you feel at home. It is situated in a quiet alley and among all those higher end shops and hotels, so it can be rather quiet at night. But if you are going with friends, there should not be any problems, as the place is near a police station as well. Although we need to walk about 5-10minutes from the MRT station, I feel that the walking distance is still quite ok. Note: Walking to the MRT via Nanking W Rd will take you to passed the Idee's newly renovated stores Others I have never heard of it, but is it the one at No 2-2 lane 27. Sec 2. Chung Shan. N. RD Taipei 鍙板寳甯備腑灞卞寳璺簩娈?7宸?-2铏?br /> http://www.dlhotel.com.tw/ It is in a pretty good location - Chung Shan N Road used to be the main shopping avenue 30 years ago and there are still some good department stores and markets there. The afternoon tea at the Grand Formosa Regent is excellent, you should try it. |
