Who likes or has been to the Taipei 101? |
Travel Info Who likes or has been to the Taipei 101? Travel Tips I went there. It was amazing. There is one floor where you can see all around because of windows. Then, higher up, is an observation deck. The observation deck is beautiful, and you can see all around, to the leafy green mountains, and the high buildings. It was an experience I will never forget. Others Taipei 101? It's really cool~! You get on the elevator, and you can be ALMOST at the top of the building in just a few secs, and they have the lights all turned off in the elavator, and they use the sparkly little lights at the ceiling of the elavator~ And the MacDonald's ice cream cone were just HUGE...(i ate about 5?) It's certainly a trip you should go on, and the shops ! *ahhh~~* I've been there, it's more on branded shops and food there, it's supposed to be the tallest building in the world, and I think it's nice to go there, have your picture taken, and proud to say that you had a picture with the tallest building as of 2007. I've been up there a few times. Not only to look at the view but they always have different Art exhibits up there and I enjoy viewing them. I have to let you know that my Tickets to get up there are free. If I had to pay the NTD350 everytime, I dont think I'd make that many trips. Been there and done that. The view is wonderful but other than that, you must be pretty rich to shop there. Loaded with so many branded stuff that I personally find it boring. Even the ever commonly known Giordano in there is an upgrade. Its called Giordano Concepts. Selling apparals different from all other Gs. The only place in there other than the top, is the basement. The foodcourt is huge, with a huge range of food served there. Other small shops (bakery/ snacks etc) sells very yummy food too. (^.^) Been there. Like everyone said, I got the same impression. Cool for the elevator, expensive for the goods, delicious for the ice cream and wonderful for the view. Yes. tallest building in the world at the moment, you could send a postcard from there (highest post office in a building). I like the food court in the basement - try snowflake ice for NT$50 - yum! |
