Hotels in hsinchu Taiwan?

Hi I will be traveling to hsinchu, Taiwan in febuary to visit my fiencee. She is working there on a two year contract, and lives in a dorm. I have been looking for hotel rooms for my stay and all I can find is 5 star hotels. I am going on a budget and am trying to find a cheap hotel. Does anyone know of any? Thanks in advance!!

If you're staying longer in Hsinchu, you may consider renting a room in an apartment from somone, a co-worker of your fiancee's. There may also hostel-type accomodations at people's homes in the area. Check with your fiancee's co-workers.
