I have a large collection of about 30+ English Novels - is anyone interested?

Travel Info
I'm living in Taipei - Da-An district, have been here a few years and have no space on my bookshelf left! Before I can buy more books I've been ordered to part with some first. They are all in great condition! I don't want to take them to the market were you only get pennies for them (but I may have to) - If you want a full list or additional details just ask. Includes Potter books, LOTR....

Any other suggestions would be welcome!

Travel Tips
Hi Dr. Jellyfish, here's my suggestion: Put your list of books at Forumosa/Taiwanted Ads, I provide the link below. What I saw other people do was take a picture(s) of the lot (of books) and just post the advertisement there. Their method works in two ways: one, we get to see the whole list of books by looking at the picture(s), and two, we get to see the condition and appearance of the books. Just stack them one on top of each other, and arrange by rows. To accomodate the A-mahs (grandmas) & the A-kongs (granddads,) be sure that the stacked books do not appear too small in the picture. If you have books by the thousands, then you may need to take many pictures. But hey, that's what a hassle-free digital camera is for.

Other Travel Tips
I would love to take them off your hands but i am in the UK...

:(
You could try listing them on EBay! People who enjoy reading but don't have much money or cannot easily get to the book shop buy a lot of books that way!

Good luck :-)
I agree with Bluewaterwoman. I had loads of old books to sell to make room for new ones and listed them on EBAY. I didn't make much money as the postage is quite high. I imagine shipping from Taipei to England will be even more expensive so don't expect to make much money doing it this way. You have to price your books lower than the lowest price book already on there to be in with a chance of someone looking at them, some I even sold for just 拢0.01p, but the postage was 拢1.15, so I lost out. I sold a lot of them though so it evened out and I made a little bit of money overall, the rest I donated to our local animal shelter shop.

You could look at donating them to a charity shop, but you won't make any money on them

Good luck
Personal experience
hello dr.jellyfish!
in the uk we have a group called 'freecycle'. i know that they do stuff worldwide so check out this website and see if there's one in your local area. if there isn't, start one!
it's great...just put on offer what you have (for free) and someone locally will volunteer to take it off your hands!
good luck
