Should US defend Taiwan from Chinese invasion even if it means America has to invade China?

Travel Info
US has a one-china policy yet it supplies weapons to Taiwan and promises to defend taiwan if china attacks based on the taiwan relations act. Yet Taiwan legislature has not agreed to buy US weapons and the US decides not to defend if Taiwan formally declares independence. what should do US decide to do if something happens in the taiwan straits?

Travel Tips
America should stop worrying about china being an aggressor and keep trying to encourage China's government to clean itself up and open itself up to open debate and opposition at least in a limited way.

If taiwan doesnt need to fear losing all their freedom, and china stopped shaking its dick around over taiwan and shut up and tried to be nice probably most practical people in Taiwan would see the BENEFIT of joining a free, open country... but that would take 50-60 years of trust building.

However, the current crop of gumbies running China are too dumb to think of this. They want land and results quick and like to distract stupider, uneducated people within China with the spectre of the evil KuoMinTang (with some justification) that they have used to distract them ever since day 1 of the 'revolution' (takeover by bandit lord C (Commies) instead of bandit lord B (KMT) or bandit lord A (Emporer's forces) historically). Even though taiwan's land is already overpopulated and China really doesnt need 23 million newly dependant children draining their money and costing their single child families their futures for years on end, they still like to swing their stupid dicks around.

America would be best served by a) strongly encouraging Chinese leaders to shut the hell up and start being nicer to Taiwan and moving their rockets to point at more important places. B) encouraging Taiwan to shut the hell up and start being nicer to china and let trade happen so Taiwanese kids can start growing up without worrying about rockets dropping on them. Signing FTA between the two and China openly recognizing that Taiwanese money is as good as japanese money and shutting up and treating each other as brothers would go a long way.

One possibility USA, Japan and the rest of the world could do to attempt to pre-empt any invasions (which would probably piss the hell out of China but possibly quash any ambitions they have to test their rockets out on Taiwanese children) would be to simaltaneuously bargain with china and say -you do this, this and this and we WONT recognize taiwan and you will have a CHANCE to be reunited. -if china fails to implement said rules (WTO, transparency, freedom, ect, within a certain time scale- simaltaneously recognize taiwan as a fully accredited nation. problem solved. and use a different minority issue to pull the chinese around by the nose. if china DID get stupid and invade, that would once again be a case of one group stepping in somebody's backyard who DIDNT invite them, and getting very bloody but probably still stealing some carrots on their way out.
The payoff for china probably wouldnt be worth losing all the single children and ending each of those unfortunate families chances at continuation.

america should start putting more development into anti-sub methods if it really cares to back up taiwan.

I think if something did happen, americans would most likely curl up and cry and smoke more pot and dream about world war 2 and play their PS3's made in China, and do nothing.

and probably taiwan would become chinas version of Iraq. A horrible simmering bloody waste of money that would ruin any chance the rest of the world taking china seriously. At best China would get some advanced microchip tech and bananas. Then taiwanese would be mad enough to start dealing thier revenge for years and years and years -(joe taiwan really likes his freedom- just look at the fistfights and blood and tears over goddamn budgets!).

The Japs never penetrated the mountains effectively and as Afghanistan shows us, you cant stop guerillas from making your lives miserable even with all of Americas tech and soldiers.

Open modern mass scale war is essentially a futile waste in this age of technology. China needs to learn how to win hearts and minds and use their money wisely and become an intelligent valued member of the international club, instead of using outdated rhetoric and useless 'public campaigns' and outdated methods like concentration camps and torture to try and motivate people to do stuff, no real people in China listen to their government anymore anyways, its all crap to them that they have heard again and again for over half a century.

Taiwanese might be open to joining China if China tried using its brains in a scientific way instead of counting on its shriveled up impotent old mens cocks that are destroying endangered animals
across the world to think.

bombing taiwan is China's modern leftover fable to solving its impotence, just like the idea that bear-liver and rhino horn can do anything for their cocks. America needs to show that to them. Source(s): studying chinese history while living in taiwan and speaking and reading about the issue.

Under international law, Taiwan is "an overseas territory under the jurisdiction of the United States," .... hence it is entirely suitable that the US defend Taiwan from Chinese invasion.

Actually, to put this more forcefully, it is "imperative" that the US defend Taiwan from Chinese invasion, because the US Constitution specifies a "common defense" for all states and territories under the jurisdiction of the United States.
