Where to get plus size clothings in Taiwan??? |
Travel Info Anyone out there who has been to Taiwan & knows where to get plus size clothings like dresses, jeans, skirts & tops for a women? Wanted to go Taiwan, Taipei for holiday trip later this year but don't wanna ended up buying nothing when back. Travel Tips HI, Chengzhong Day Market is a short alleyway packed with stalls selling stuff that working moms would buy----kids clothes, maternity wear, socks, underwear, hair accessories, conservative clothes for the workplace, etc. On one end of the market is Yuanling St., "shoe street", and parallel to Chengzhong Market is BoAi Rd., another working mom's shopping stretch. Directions: From Ximending Circle, walk east on Hengyang Rd.; turn left onto BoAi Rd.; turn right at the 1st street, Yuanling St. The market starts on the left hand side of Yuanling St. Another area is Wanhua Wholesale Clothing Market off Longshan temple MRT Stop. Exit 2 after the Longshan Market http://home.trtc.com.tw/info92/ebig.asp?... Both places open after 10.30am. Others There is a clothes shopping district (shown on the MRT map) just south of the Sung Shan railroad station and Raohe St. night market. The district extends for about 4 city blocks and in the evening all the stores haul out their wares (this is primarily an evening operation). If you're willing to spend a bit more, thereis a number of tailor shops around. I have my slacks made that way and have been satisfied. |
