I've decided to visit Taipei from 29 Mar to 2 Apr with my another friend (free & easy), below is our planned schedules for the 5days4nite:-

29th-reach airport @5pm, back to hotel at Zhongshan Rd, go shihlin nitemkt
30th-Zongxiaodonglu, wufenpu, raohe nitemkt
31st- ximending, taipei 101, ? nitemkt
1st- ximending, danshui
2nd- 6:30pm flight, hav no idea yet wat to do b4 tat

By the way, may I know where got the nicest/biggest cinema in taipei? 101?

Travel Tips

Your itinerary seems good, here are a few suggestions:

29th - fine!

30th - At Zongxiaodonlu you can go to the (Din-Tai-Feng restaurant) it serves the best Dim-Sum! Also check out the newly opened Sogo store.

31st - I suggest going to 101 at 5pm ish (not later), this way you get the day view, the sun set and night view in one viewing! You can then get a taxi to Tong-Hua Ye-Shu (Tong-Hua nightmarket which is pretty close to the 101). It's quite a good night-market!

Regarding the cinema - there is a Warner Village just over the road from 101, it has a 'New York New York' building as well as many other dept stores - cinema is just there.

You might consider checking the Jade market out on a Saturday or a Sunday, in finishes at about 3-4pm though -remember to haggle.

30th-Longshan Temple (Nice place to photograph in their grounds-Anyway most other places do not open before 10.30 or 11am. ) Zongxiaodonglu, taipei 101 and Xinyi district, > Take bus 611 or 284 from Veishow Cinema to wufenpu, raohe nitemkt

31st- ximending, Gogguang nitemkt (Smaler but nice shopping and food place> Shida (Food mainly)
1st- ximending, danshui (Both places good atmosphere on Sundays especially Ximenting)

2nd- CKS Memorial Hall, then Guanghua Electronic market (Zhingxiao Xinsheng MRT stop, Exit 4, turn right, walk to 2nd traffic light, turn left, 2 mins to Location. - 6:30pm flight, hav no idea yet wat to do b4 tat

If you are a guy, you dont need to go to Wufenpu
