I asked my friend and he says that you just take a bus or train. If you're looking for something good to eat, just look around at which places have a lot of people in them. That's the one. That is the way my Taiwanese friends always pick restaurants, and it seems to work well. Each time we do it, the food is really good. Also, check out the seafood while you're there. My friend says you have to buy crab when you go there. He says you can get really good bargains. If not for yourself, then for your Chinese friends.

You can get to Keelung by Cab, Bus or Train. Train - you take it from the Taipei Main Station, is the best way as it is quick and you dont get stuck in traffic jams. It will take about 40 mins.

From the Keelung Station,walk passed the Sea
(Keelung River??)all the way to the otherside to the Macdonalds. Passing the shops in that street Miaokow is on your left at the First Traffic Junction.Not difficult to find.

Hi, you can take a train from Taipei Main Station, it's only a 30 min ride. Keelung is right beside Taipei city. Keelung is a port and you can drive along the shore and watch cargo ships and so on. I bet it's not easy to see this in Britain. The streets in Keelung are narrow, so actually the city isn't a great view, if you're visting Taipei, you should go to Danshui, which is a town outside Taipei, and the MRT reaches there!
