I want to go on holiday to Thailand, when is the best time to go? |
Travel Info And can you recommend a good resort for couples? Travel Tips Sept to Feb would be a good time (bearably hot getting cooler in Dec) to go unless you love the heat which can be really hot in other months. For shopping, massage plus sightseeing - go to Bangkok BUT be prepared for the new airport which still has some problems since it opened early this year. Chiangmai (further north of Bangkok) is also a nice place to visit for some shopping, spa/ massage and culture. It is also cooler than Bangkok. For beach resorts, go to Phuket, Koh Samui or Krabi. Others probably from feb to april. Summer will be way too hot and humid. The best time is between Nov - Jan. The weather is really great then but it tends to get crowded with tourists. As for accommodations which city you planning to visit? Plenty ofgood hotels to choose from. You can go anytime ,just take a small brolly with you if you go in the rainy season ,We have been in june/july & sept We are going again on the 2nd of june We stay at thr BEL-AIRE PRINCESS In bangkok ,its in a great location for everything ( shopping & sightseeing) We have been to koh-samui & pattaya ,this time we are going to phuket For your first trip go to bangkok then to the beach ,3 nts in bangkok is enough to see everything stayed in bel-aire princess 5 times before january of february becaus ethe weather not hot, warm and good for travel round big city |
