Can you go snorkelling/diving in Thailand in September? |
Travel Info I'm going to Thailand in September and would really like to do some snorkelling/diving, just wondering if anyone knows of any tour companies that operate at this time? Cheers Travel Tips i spent nine weeks in thailand from august till october 2001 and only in the last 1-2 weeks, the weather on the east coast got so bad, that diving was not really recommended anymore. until then, it was perfect, even though it started to rain earlier at the west cost, which was why we moved on to the east...... Others Sorry to say but September ain't a good season - heavy rain,thunderstorms and not a great "underwater" experience (if possible at all). Try to change your plans - what a waste of money,time if you could have the best 2/3 month's later! I'm not the weather-god myself but after living in Phuket for almost 7 yrs I've seen quite a bit. |
