Travel Tips from your other question you asked I would have to say at least 100 US dollars a day. Others well it all depends how long your'e staying , what is your hotel budget, what kinds of activities you want to do...etc.. These are the prices I've paid on my trips: Flight: $1100 tax incl. rt via Singapore Air Pattaya or Bangkok Sawasdee Mansions: 600B per day. Other cheaper Hotels in these cities: $50 a day Hotels in other cities run by locals: 600-1200B per day Hotels International in other cities: $50-$80 Note: Hotels in Koh Samet and Koh Chang and Koh Samui are more expensive. Local food: 60-160B per meal per person Other food: 200-400B per meal per person Fancy Food: 500-1200B per meal per person Activities: Jetski on beach: 800B an hour (major rip-off) Bungi - 1200B Scuba: varies alot, but expect 1600-4000B Bars: I suggest Sangsom, 170B bottle, but 50B domestic beer seems popular. Import hard stuff can get even more expensive than at home, sometimes upwards of 200B per watered down drink, though 200B is the everage. I drink "wy-wine" for 160B...they can't water that down. Note: they call all hard stuff "whisky". Transportation: 800B taxi from Bangkok to Pattaya. worth every baht. 120B for bus from anywhere to anywhere it almost seems. Some shorter routes are 40-60B, though you are never guaranteed a seat. Flights are expensive, so why do it when you can take a taxi from city to city ffor cheap? Get a local friend to negotiate on the price and go for half what you would get. All the nice stuffs are listed on the internet, just browse some. I went for a month and spent 5 grand, but then more than half of that was spent on nightlife activites. So you CAN go and have fun for $1000 a month, but not in luxery. |
