Sending package from Thailand to the U.S. i think its gone? |
Travel Info hello, i sent a few things to CA from thailand from a variety of places. I shipped all of them..except for One large package that i had sent via airmail. I sent this beginning of April from a store that specialized in sending things and organizing tours. haha..multitasking. It was less than 100dollars. is it lost? should i expect it to be sent to my apt. or do i actually have to go to the airport. Im really worried because it was a gift and i went through a great deal to get it. =( Travel Tips Hi, sending airmails from Thailand sometimes may take 3 weeks or a month to reach US. If you had sent a large package and you have insufficient postage, it could be shipped instead. So unless you sent by registered parcel post, there will be no other way to track it except wait for the receiver to inform you if and when it arrived. Meantime, just wait a bit more and hope for the best. p.s. have you checked with with the store that you sent the package through whether they had shipped it out in the first place? Others unless you specified AIRFREIGHT it probably went by boat. Shipping from Thailand to Cali would be atleast 3 weeks. |
