It has a lot of pictures and the name and address of the used car dealer. Used car sellers at Radchada Street In and around Bangkok, you will find many used car dealers. They are actually referred to as "tents", as most of them have a big canopy/tent covering them. I recently bought a 4 door truck, a Toyota Hilux "Sport Cruiser", year 2004. It took many hours to work out a price that we could both agree on. Lucky I had my Thai GF with me to help, but they family that ran the place spoke english. We finally agreed on 450,000 baht, which at the time of exchange, was about 12,800 dollars. We got lots of extras, had them change all the engine fluids, full tank of gass, bed liner and full cleaning/detail job before we picked it up. They also took care of all the license and registration transfers. We got our own insurance. One note is you have to be careful of the odometer though as my Thai GF said some places "roll back" the meter to show less miles. You have to make a judgement by looking at the whole picture to judge if the odometer is correct. A beat up piece of junk showing very low miles is suspect, or the odometer has already rolled over one time. All in all, it was a good experience and no problems. Good luck! |
