When's the best time of the year to visit Phuket, Thailand? |

However it is the high seasons and hotel rates goes up. I pick mid January as the best time. Very little rain, but a little cooler. lola I'll let you use my umbrella if it rains. Southern Thailand is best visited between November and April to avoid the monsoons that occur during other months. I would recommend mid Jan to end April to avoid crowded beaches (Dec & early Jan are usually the months with the lot's of travellers due to festive season such as X'mas & New year) Arguably the best time to visit Phuket is between December to March.
