Do you need a visa to visit udon thani in thailand? |
Travel Info im an Australian citizen Travel Tips No I don`t think you need one. I was in and out of Thailand for 8 months last year and didn`t have a problem. They did change the visa laws while I was out there though. You can get a 1 month tourist visa for free when you enter thailand. If you want to stay for longer then you must leave the country. I hopped accross the border to Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia to do this but you can also go through myanmar too. You can then get another one month visa back into thailand. You used to be able to do this as many times as you like but the new laws state that you can only spend 3 months out of any 9 month period in thailand. However, there are ways around this if you pay for a 3 or 6 month visa. Basically, if you have enough money you can stay for as long as you like. For up to date information check out... www.thaivisa.com Hope this helps and have an amazing time in Thailand (I`m so jealous!). Others No If you have already entered Thailand - you don't need any visa. Udon Thani is part of Thailand. Fellow Aussie - regular traveller to the Land of smiles udorn thani is a city not a country, so as a aussie your get a visa on arrival and can visit anywhere in thailand you wish for 30 days. No visa need for thailand if you're australian and want to stay for 30days or less. Once you're in Thailand you can go anywhere. Good day Mate, you are given 30-day free entry pass on your arrival into Thailand as an Aussie citizen. So visiting Udon will be covered with your visit pass. Anything longer than 30 days, please raise your question again for answers. Have a good holiday. |
