Passport (must be in good condition) required, see below for
validity requirements.

Visa required. A visa for a max. stay of 15 days can be
obtained on arrival (ONLY at Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai,
Hat Yai, Krabi, Phuket, Samui Int'l, Sukhothai, Surat Thani,
Utapao airports).

1. If visa obtained prior to arrival:
- passport must be valid for the period of intended stay.
Travelling on one-way ticket is allowed.

2. If visa obtained on arrival:
- passport is required to be valid at least 6 months; and
- passenger must be coming for touristic purposes; and
- holding ticket for onward/return journey within 15
days from arrival date (if failing to do so, entry will
be refused);
- holding THB 10,000.- (approx. USD 320.-) per person or
THB 20,000.- (approx. USD 640.-) per family.

Submit the application form completed in English only along
with a copy of the onward/return ticket, the fee and 1
passport photo (size 4 x 6 cm.). Passport photo facilities
only available at Bangkok Int'l Airport.

Fees: Visa on arrival: THB 1,000.- (to be paid in local
currency). Passport photo: THB 170.- per photo.

Passenger must clear Customs and Immigration Quarantine
(CIQ) immediately at the point where visa is obtained.
Otherwise passenger must reapply for a visa against
repayment of visa fee at the point of final destination.

If holding APEC Business Travel Card (clearly stating on the
reverse that it is valid for travel to Thailand):
visa not required, provided holding national passport and proof
of residence in the country that issued the ABTC.
However, it is recommended to apply for a visa prior to arrival
to avoid possible complications on arrival in Thailand.

Entry may be refused if of "hippy" appearance.

Visitor must hold all documents for next destination.
If being over 12 years old, visitor must also hold sufficient
funds to cover stay (at least THB 20,000.- approx. USD 640.-
per person/family).
Proof of funds includes letter of credit, vouchers, MCO's or
well-known credit cards (not applicable if holding re-entry
visa).

Non-compliance with the visa regulations will result in:
- refusal and immediate deportation of passenger;
- fines for the airline of THB 20,000,-;
- overstay fine for passenger of THB 500,- per day (but not
exceeding in total THB 20,000.-).
