Is sep-oct a good time to go to thailand - phuket/koh samui? |
Travel Info has anyone been at this time? is it an ok time to enjoy the beach and watersports? Travel Tips phuket: VERY BAD IDEA... i was there last october (ok, it was khao lak, a bit north) and it was raining, and raining and raining...... the water was waist-high in the streets.... koh samui is better (cause on the other cost = east), was there too, a few years ago in september and it was perfect... raning and bad weather didnt start until early october.... Others Those are great times to visit thailand. In fact any time is a great time!! The weather is always hot there. You have a chance of rain almost every evening. But it usually passes over in an hour or two. The beach is great, and usually not jammed at that tiem of year. snorkelling, and scuba is great. enjoy, be safe. Bring your own sunblock!! You don't want to have to buy it there . $$$$$$ :)) At that time, I prefer the northern provinces such as Chiang Mai and it's a very bad idea to travel to southern part of Thailand. During June to February, it's rainy season for southern provinces, since there are only two seasons there(hot and rainy). |
