Others That is a primarily Japanese influenced street - The most reasonable accomodation there is Sawasdee Hotel which is a half block off Thong Lor and near to Sukhumvit RD.. it costs abt 800-1200 baht per night and I think they have a special discount now for 3 night stays.. it is clean, not fancy - and the price includes breakfast... ok? Actually, there is a shared bathroom kind of back packer place somewhere nearby too [Johns?] and another guesthouse just off the corner of TL and Sukh - it is part of a bookstore.. right near a dentist - I think a bit cheaper too Yes Hotel 27 on Sukhumvit Soi 22 costs 300 Baht per night and has air con. To get to the embassy, just get the convenient skytrain 1 stop. |
