Phuket tell me the hidden infomation, where are the bargain places? |
Travel Info hi guys just want to know where to shop to get good bargins and where is a good place to eat. i'm off in 1 week. Also any recomendations to tours? which ones are good thanks guys have a good one! Travel Tips Patong Beach is actually one of the best places to shop because of the quantity and the variety. You can always always bargain there. Food is also plentiful there. But spend a day in Phuket town, Central Festival is a good place for international shopping but you cannot bargain there. Ocean Robinsons is a nice place for cheap and good shopping and where the locals go for their own shopping. If you are around over the weekend, near Central Festival is a weekend flea market called the "Thai Rote" and there are literally hundreds of stalls that sell every type of knick knacks you can think of and all the little local snacks. Great seafood places if you are mobile include Laem Hin seafood. Most taxi drivers should know where it is and arrange a time for him to pick u up after your dinner. Nearby is also another seafood restaurant but it is a floating restaurant. They would pick you up by boat and send you to the floating restaurant, and seafood is fresh and it's a nice new experience. . Hope this is enough information to last you for your stay. Tesco Lotus, Big C, Central are good places to go shopping. Central has loads of thing...like a cinema, shops, food, supermarket...etc.. Best place to eat i would say Don's Cafe toward the south before Nai Harn beach. You can take some safaris which are nice. Island safari in Chalong is preety good (elephants, mokeys, treking,) or go to Patong during the night and enjoy!!! |
