Le Meridient Beach & Resort Phuekt?

My hasband and I are going to Phuket next month and we've been thinking to stay at Le Meridient Beach Resort. Though, we are not quite sure where it's located since some websites say Karon some say Paton. Can anyone advise its real location and how far from Patan or Phuket Centre?

Le Meridien Beach Resort Phuket is located in between Karon beach and Patong beach. It is about 15 minutes either way. Located in a valley right next to the beach. It's a nice place to stay in if it's not occupied by corporate groups having their meetings there. If so the place feels overcrowded. However, it has its own beach. It has recently gone through renovations after the hotel was closed due to the tsunami. Do look out if you plan to swim there as the waves are huge this monsoon season.

It is about 30 minutes to Phuket town and you have to pass through quite a bit of traffic. About 45 minutes from the airport as well. But it's nice if you are looking at seclusion and privacy. Source(s): Working in Phuket in the tourist industry

The Meridien Resort is at Karon Noi beach. Patong is approx. 10 Min. away and Phuket center 20 Min.
