Travel Info HI if i buy a MAGNETIC PASS = 1 DAY PASS for 120 baht can i use it on the SUKHUMVIT LINE & the SILOM LINE . I want to go from NANA to NATIONAL STADIUM ? What stop is it for PATPONG NIGHT MARKET ? We are not intrested in taxi,s !!!!!!!!!!!! Travel Tips Hi Margaret, from Nana to the National Stadium, you can stop at SIAM interchange station and either take the Silom train to National Stadium 1 stop away or just take a walk to there. Whereas if you are heading to Patpong Night Market, the Nana train will bring you to SIAM interchange where you switch to Silom line and stop at SALA DAENG station 2 stops away and the night market is just along Silom Road. As for the pass, it is valid on any Skytrain line. You know Phuket better than Bangkok, right? Others yes you can use both lines no matter what type of ticket you buy. to go to patpong from sukhumvit you would take the sky train to Siam Center then switch to the Silom line going to Saphan Thaskin, you would get of at the second stop which is saladaeng station. you then want to walk down to soi 4 which is patpong. Also to go to national stadium from nana you need to switch trains at Siam Center and take the Silom line train one stop to national stadium. So if I understand this you want to go from Nana, which has a large night market catering for tourists (with tourist prices to match) to Patpong which, er, has a large night market catering for tourists (with tourist prices to match). Nowhereman's answer is basically correct. I believe the BTS station is called 'Siam' rather than 'Siam Center'. If you were going from National Stadium (MBK) to Sala Daeng (Patpong) you wouldn't need to switch lines at Siam. Yes - a one day pass will get you ANYWHERE on ANY line for the day. Regarding getting off at Siam to get on the other skytrain to National Stadium.....by the time you switch line and wait, it might be just as fast to walk. You can use the one day pass on both lines and the stop for Patpong would be Sala Daeng station. It's a good system and runs until midnight. |
