DISNEY !!!! is there a Disney shop in thailand ? |
Travel Info Does anyone know where i can buy disney cloths in bangkok or phuket .I think i read something about disney cloths being made in thailand so they are not fakes They are for a wee girl aged 3 Travel Tips There is a Disney shop here in Bangkok near Siam Square - originals not copies!! Others go to disney's web-site and you should be able to find a store I stayed in Bankok in February & the best place to find a Disney shop would be in the Trade centre. It's massive!! You could fit at least 3 Trafford Centres in it! It's not bad to get to - either jump on the sky train as theres a sation that stops right outside & a walkway takes you right in or get a taxi - they all now where it is. Don't get in a tuk tuk tho they'll take you everywhere & you'll get fleeced! personal experience Fakes or no fakes....they'll look good (the fakes are just much cheaper and just as durable)...I don't know of an actual disney shop...but if they say the old World Trade Center (Now owned by Central) you are gonna want to get off at Siam station and walk on the sky bridges available to get there (the Center itself). Other places to search are at Chatuchak Market on the weekends and the area around Pratunam for some really good fakes (No one will notice the difference...not even people who work in the Disney parks :-p). no The last time I was at the Export Center on Ratchadapisek Road, they had original tagged Disney Items for fraction of the price you would expect to pay. As an example, for a Mans embroidered high quality polo Shirt that would be at least US $40, it was around US $5 or less. The export center might be a place to check as the have new deals everyday and you can always find quality items that for one reason or another, were manufactured here but never exported. The Disney stuff had all the original US Disney tags on it |
