Does anyone know if there is any hotels inside the bangkok intl airport? |
Travel Info I dont want to leave the airport whilst on a 8 hour stop over and i heard that there was some accommodation inside the airport. Travel Tips yes, there is a hotel inside Suvarnabhumi airport. Its called Louis Tavern, and you have to go to the upper floor, departure floor, level 4, it is fairly expensive and might cost you over 3000 bhat, http://www.bangkokbooking.org/suvarnabhu... Check out for dayrooms in the map. Others Sure there are.... Right across the street from the airport to me is pretty much "at the airport" sorry if I seemed misleading. http://www.Ready4aVacation.com No there are NO hotels inside Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok. However, right across the street is the new Novatel Hotel which is very nice and quite expensive. The hotel has a free shuttle from the airport, which takes about 5 minutes to get to the main door of the hotel. 8 hours at the Bangkok Airport is an ungodly amount of time as I have trouble waiting 2 hours there. However, here are some things you can do cheaper than going to the Hotel. Changi Massage is located inside the airport, you can get a one, two, three or 4 hour massage that will help you pass the time, you can sleep during that time, relaxing massage by females and then get up totally refreshed and ready to go. The massage is open at 6:00 AM and closes at 12:00 midnight daily. Kings Power operates all the duty free shopping, which is plentiful and full of brand names, although quite expensive. Maybe pick up or bring a book with you as well. There are many restaurants so you can easily pass an hour there eating. That is really about all you can do at the airport for entertainment, short of sit in one of the bars and nurse some drinks. The Novotel Hotel is going to be an expensive alternative, I would guess upwards of US $150. Live in Thailand, work at airport yes there is one but it is very expensive, it's the Novotel. it's within walking distance of the airport. I believe they are making a walkway to the hotel but don't know if it's finish yet. below is link to the hotel. http://www.sawadee.com/hotel/bangkok/nov... |
