And be aware of other people that seem really nice, because they are more then likely trying to scam you. And never ever ever leave your bags unattended, not even if your tuk tuk driver says he'll watch it for you when you go into a store. You will be ripped off guarenteed. Also, if it sounds too good to be true, it is. If someone offers you a tuk tuk ride around Bangkok for 20 Baht, dont do it, he wont take you where you want to go but to some shops or out of the city instead. Best time of my life though! Once you go, you'll be back I promise. Have fun!! Others i came, i saw, i conquered and I never left. I first visited Thailand 6 years ago, and ever since I keep coming back twice a year at least. Yes. It is an amazing place. Hot place. Great shopping. Beautiful people. Deep in culture and tradition yet at the same time progressive and modern. Fantastic food. Love it! I love the place and will definitely come back for more. I love the shops around, the friendly people and the sights. One of the best country I have been. I have been to Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai last year May! I enjoyed myself very much and I wanted to go to Phuket this year but have to canceled due to meteorological and political situation in Thailand! |
