Hotels in Phuket? |
Travel Info I will be heading to Phuket in Aug and need to find a hotel which is not too far from beaches and town. Any recommendation on the hotel to stay and also places of interest to visit? Travel Tips I have booked the phuket orchid for December which is in Karon beach, and looks quite nice Others I like to look on www.asiarooms.com . This way I get to look at alot of hotels and get reviews from people who went there. I stayed at Amari Hotel in Patong Beach. It was quiet and BEAUTIFUL!!! I was in Phuket for my honeymoon last June. It has it's own private beach and a quick tuk-tuk will bring you into town (5 mins). Great place to stay for romantics.The website will show you where the hotels are located at depending on which area you want to stay at in Phuket.Thailand has lots of rain at night and you should def. go on a island hopping tour.You can find tours in your hotel of on the local streets (you can haggle with them for a discount on the street).I did a coneing while island hopping tour. In this efficient website there is option to view selected hotels on a the map of Phuket (On the left side bar) so you can find a hotel which is not too far from beaches and town. Try The Chedi...it is a little north of town but is beautiful....it is water front and has individual rooms on stilts in the water....a great dining room and an infinity pool. It is well worth the money. |
