Is there any food in America you can't find in Thailand? |
Travel Info I am just wondering.... Travel Tips i must say that everything we have back in the States they have it here..... all types mexican, french, german, indian, u name it they have it..... even all of our fastfood joints that we have they have it here too...only one i can think of is Taco Bell that they dont have here......but i'm sure they have other foods that we'll get ur bodily functions moving..lol(taco bell i mean...) no worries.... have many options of dining to choose from here...hope u enjoy ur visit here..... OH!!! they have many exotic fruits here that u cant find in the states too.... so in fact there is more here than we have back at home...... Trust me, we have every kind of food here and you will enjoy dining out every day and night. Live here No Artichokes - peaches are hard to find. iceberg lettuce and normal celery is available but very expensive. Depends on where you are. In some of the northern towns and villages you cant get many western foods like hamburgers etc. But by the same token, in heavily touristed places like Hua Hin, Phuket etc. you can easily find it. I found that finding a good western style breakfast (bacon, eggs etc.) in most places aside from the expensive hotels in Bangkok. As it is, I dont really mind. I adore Thai food, so Im happy to miss out on the western staples for a while. Travelled extensively in Thailand. |
