Affordable honeymoon hotels in Thailand?

Travel Info
We are going to Thailand in August, specifically to Phuket and around the islands. We want a hotel room with a jacuzzi and a nice view, but at an affordable price. Anyone know of any?

Cheers

Travel Tips
I went to Thailand to celebrate my New years last year.

I found this website pretty useful for hotel information and booking.

If you are going to Phuket, stay at Patong Beach. We stayed at Hotel Horizon Beach Resort. A very good hotel and definitely worth the trip. Another good one is Holiday Inn, Patong Beach, Phuket (next to Horizon).

Advantages -
1) Hotel overlooking the beach.
2) Has a money changer, which is located just between the two hotels.
3) English speaking staff (language can be a problem in Thailand)
4) Easy accessibility to the main Patong market.

Advice -

Try to book well before in advance. Should you actually make a booking, just check with the hotel 2 days in advance. At times , these guys have last minute cancellations and can upgrade your room to the next level (free of cost). How do I know this ?? Because , I was one lucky one to get such an upgrade in the peak season time. ;-)

Anyways, good luck and have fun. Source(s): My Personal Experience

congrauation and best of luck to you. Thailand is a very nice place to visit lots of nice hotels and resorts at Phuket and the islands around it. August is the low season and your get a good rate. People have already given you links to web sites, so you know where to look. Just a piece of advice, you get what you pay for. Just because they say a place has a jacuzzi don't expect much of one in a three star hotel, or even a fitness room could be one piece of equipment. Select a hotel and check out reviews from people who stayed at these places. I web site I used in the past is below. Good Luck
