Best hotels for snorkelling/diving in Thailand?? |
Travel Info i'm thinking of going tgo Thailand in October for a week or two, it would befantastic to do some diving/snorkelling, does anyone know of luxury hotels that is also ideally located for those activities?? Travel Tips it's not the hotel, it's the location, you can find a good hotel at any of the locations, recommend, Krabi, Phi Phi, Koh Samui, or Similian islands. Hotels at any of these locations can arrange tours for snorkeling and or diving. Others Dont know about luxury but, I did a scuba diving course in Thailand, Kotoh(dont know if you spell it that way) me and my dad and brother did our course on the island at the Padi centre, its quite beautiful the small island and all the little bars along the shore, plus the padi dive school give you free accomadation, you should go stay at the tropicana resort there. Its really cheap Padi will sell you a DVD of your experience when you finish, my advice dont go scuba diving, you could burst your ear drum and youll be finished, and dont forget the mozi repelant If you really want to enjoy some serious diving , go to Koh Tao. Its an island by Koh Samui . They have so many diving resorts there that its ridiculous!! Plus to get your full certification is about $300 ( which is an AMAZING deal!). I went to the Carabao Resort. But you can literally take the ferry over there and have people waiting to ask you to come stay at their hotel. Or you can book a stay there through a travel agent. Have a blast! |
